We helped Sprite launch its new global brand identity and creative platform “Fresh Yourself” in Western Europe. 

 

Adhering to this new creative platform, the work involved creating a set of Intrinsic Led assets celebrating Sprite's new pack design, TVC tag-ons and a suite social content that cut through the nonsense of modern life and encouraged young adults to stop overthinking things. It also involved updating the Sprite brand site for Western European markets and creating promotional content to raise awareness of Sprite’s new clear, 100% recyclable bottle.

 

I was tasked with the visual design, motion design and creation of all content we provided Sprite. In addition, I concepted, storyboarded and presented most outputs to the client before leaping into design the phase.

Intrinsic Led Assets

In line with Sprite’s new “Fresh Yourself” brand identity, my first task was to create a series of Intrinsic Led assets. Intended to be dynamic and playful, I was responsible for the concept design, visual design, motion design and delivery of all outputs.


This was an exercise of pure creativity – my tools were the “Fresh Yourself” patterns, brand colours and the new pack designs. To celebrate the fruit, I also added beauty shots of lemon and lime. Finally, to hero the drink itself, I decided to infuse dynamic liquid video renders into each asset to really bring the final outputs to life.
 

GO! Sprite Brand Site Assets

As part of re-design their brand site, I was tasked with creating a suite of static and animated “billboard carousel” and “feature tile” assets, that sprite markets with GO! Brand sites could use to update their website look and feel. 

 

The assets were designed in line with the wider Fresh Yourself campaign and had to be built designed and built in line with the component features available on Adobe Experience Manager (the platform used to build each site).

TVC Tag Ons

As part of the wider “Fresh Yourself” campaign, a new 10s TVC was created – it was called Cansplosion. As part of the new TVC and thanks to the work I’d done on the Intrinsic assets, I was asked to create a series of 5s tags-ons that would be added to the end of the main TVC.

 

Provided with a working storyboard of the new TVC, I had to ensure a seamless transition into the 5s Tag Ons. I storyboarded several concepts and presented them to the client. Once concepts were approved, I designed and created the final outputs. An actor was brought in to provide the voice over.

Nonsense Behaviour Social Content

As part of the new “Fresh Yourself” brand identity we created a series of content that cut through the nonsense of modern-day life – e.g. endlessly scrolling through social feed or procrastinating over which song on Spotify to pick. We sought to identify these nonsense acts and use Sprite to stage an intervention asking our audience to “Fresh Yourself”. My role was to lead the visual design, motion design and final output of content.

Sustainability Social & Promotional Content

To celebrate the transition from green plastic bottles to clear plastic bottles, where Sprite were now even easier to recycle – I was asked to create a suite of social and promotional content. Taking lead from the Intrinsic assets, I designed and created content for a whole range of touchpoints including Instagram Stories/Feed, 48 Sheet, OOH and Facebook Carousel.
